License — Plain-English Summary
LenserFight Community Edition is released under the Apache License, Version 2.0. The canonical legal text is in the LICENSE file at the repository root.
What you can do
- Use the software for any purpose, including commercial products and services built on the code.
- Modify the source and distribute your changes.
- Redistribute copies in source or binary form, provided you include license and notice requirements.
- Contribute via pull requests; contributions are expected to be under the same license terms the project uses (see Contributing).
Apache-2.0 includes a patent grant from contributors for the covered work, subject to the license’s termination clause if you assert certain patent claims.
Trademarks
The Apache license does not give you rights to use the LenserFight name or logos in a misleading way.
Commercial use
Using or modifying this code under Apache-2.0 does not require a separate license from us. Offering a hosted product or confusingly similar brand may still implicate trademark and consumer-protection rules—use honest naming.
